The Society of Floating Solutions (Singapore) is pleased to announce that the Sixth World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS 2026) will take place in Singapore from 19-21 October 2026.
Following the successful editions of WCFS in previous years, the 2026 conference has been officially awarded to TCOMS (Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine, Singapore) as the local host. TCOMS will co-organize the event in collaboration with the Society of Floating Solutions (Singapore) and the International Scientific Committee.
WCFS 2026 will continue the tradition of bringing together leading experts, innovators, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to explore and advance solutions in floating infrastructure. With Singapore’s growing role in offshore and marine innovation, and TCOMS’ position at the forefront of testing and research, the 2026 edition promises to be a pivotal milestone for the global floating solutions community.
About WCFS 2026
WCFS 2026 will focus on the theme “Marine Infrastructure for Energy, Food, Climate Resilience and Ocean Space Utilisation.” The conference will provide a dedicated international platform for high-level dialogue, technical exchange, and collaboration across academia, industry, class societies, and regulatory bodies.
Key technical areas will include, but are not limited to:
- Ocean renewable energy (floating offshore wind, floating solar, tidal energy, hydrogen and ammonia production)
- Ocean space utilisation and floating infrastructure
- Aquaculture and offshore food systems
- Climate adaptation and coastal resilience
- Marine construction, installation, operations, and management
- Blue economy, finance, policy, and risk
In addition to technical sessions, WCFS 2026 will feature a business track connecting innovation with commercialisation, industry trends, and partnership opportunities, alongside structured networking and social events.
