The Society of Floating Solutions (Singapore)‘s 5th World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS 2025) was co-organized together with the local host, Bluet Floating Solutions, a Finnish company focused on developing special floating solutions. The conference took take place in Espoo, Finland from 1st to 3rd September 2025.
About WCFS
World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS) was initiated by the “Society of Floating Solutions, Singapore (SFSS)” in 2019 to bring international experts and leaders together to disseminate recent research and developments in floating solutions. The second WCFS was held in Rotterdam in 2020, third in Tokyo 2023 and fourth will be held in Hong Kong December 2024.
The theme of WCFS 2025 is “Floating Solutions for sustainable urban waterfront development and blue economy”.
This conference will be of interest to architects, engineers, urban planners, biologists, social scientists, consultants, manufacturers, developers, government officials, researchers, academics, and postgraduate students interested in floating solutions. On average each conference has had about 250 delegates from all over the world.
Theme 2025: Floating Solutions for Sustainable Urban Waterfront Development and the Blue Economy
WCFS 2025 focuses on real-world applications of floating technologies for urban development, climate resilience, and marine spatial planning.
