On 7 May 2025, Bosowa Energy Group and BK LNG Solution (BKLS) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding in Jakarta—marking a major step forward in Indonesia’s shift to cleaner energy infrastructure.
This wide-ranging partnership covers:
🔹 LNG supply chain integration
🔹 Floating storage units (FSUs)
🔹 Gas-fired power generation
🔹 Small-scale LNG distribution via ISO tanks
🔹 Modular regasification & microgrid systems for remote islands
Bosowa’s COO Muhammad Akram called this a “transformative step” to reduce emissions and enhance energy reliability, while BKLS President Henry Kim affirmed their commitment to Indonesia’s clean energy transition.
The partnership also includes plans to convert diesel-fired power plants (PLTDs) to gas-powered (PLTGs) systems—especially in remote regions—and pilot projects in Eastern Indonesia are set to begin later this year.
This collaboration directly supports Indonesia’s national energy roadmap and highlights how public-private and regional-global cooperation can drive real change in decarbonization and energy access.
