Michael Chia Hock Chye

Graduated as Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K.;

Further education in MBA and Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration, National University of Singapore.

Presently Managing Consultant with Impact Energy LLP, a consultant company providing services in project management, due diligence, concept and technical solutions to the maritime, shipyard, offshore, LNG and energy sectors.

Served 37 years in theKeppelGroupwith management experience in corporate development, engineering, operations, commercial, marketing, contracting and executive management.Main area of focus has been in offshore and marine particularly in the construction of offshore oil and gas drilling rigs and production units, LNG vessels, power barges and specialized ships. 

Served as board member of several public listed and non-public listed companies in Singapore and overseas.  President of ASMI (Association of Singapore Marine Industries) 2005 to2009 and Chairman of SMF (Singapore Maritime Foundation) 2010 to 2015.
