ASYAD Drydock is set to invest in a second floating dock, expanding its ship repair and maintenance capabilities and supporting the growing demands of the regional maritime sector.
The new floating dock will allow ASYAD Drydock to service larger and more complex vessels, improve operational efficiency, and reduce congestion at existing facilities. The investment reflects Oman’s broader strategy to strengthen its logistics, industrial, and maritime infrastructure under long-term economic diversification plans.
By enhancing its floating dock capacity, ASYAD aims to attract more international clients while reinforcing Oman’s role as a key ship repair and marine services hub in the Middle East.
