As part of its push for sustainable industrial growth, the State of Assam, India, is inviting investments in floating solar, bio-CNG, green hydrogen, and alcohol-to-jet fuel, ahead of the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit (Feb 25–26).
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with key industrial leaders to highlight Assam’s emerging role in India’s green energy revolution. With vast wetlands, the state sees major potential in floating solar projects—alongside its existing bioethanol and green hydrogen developments.
Assam is also eyeing Japanese partnerships for advanced tech sectors and aims to become a hub for semiconductors, EVs, and sustainable innovations.
